What is GIGS 2026?
The International Conference on Governance, Innovation, Glocalization and Sustainability (GIGS 2026) is the inaugural international conference hosted by Foreign Trade University – Ho Chi Minh City Branch in collaboration with leading international academic partners. The conference provides an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, academics, policymakers, industry professionals, and graduate students to exchange knowledge and discuss emerging issues in governance, innovation, glocalization, and sustainable development.

No. There are no submission or registration fees for GIGS 2026. Participation in the conference is free of charge.
How can I submit my paper?
Manuscripts should be prepared in accordance with the conference submission guidelines and submitted by email to gigs@ftu.edu.vn.

What language should be used for submissions?
All papers and presentations must be prepared and presented in English.
Will accepted papers be published?
Selected papers may be published in the conference proceedings (ISBN), subject to the conference requirements and the authors’ consent.
Outstanding papers may also be invited to undergo further review for publication in affiliated academic journals.
What review process will be used?
All submitted manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer-review process conducted by members of the Scientific Committee and external peer reviewers to ensure academic quality and integrity.
Can international participants attend online?
GIGS 2026 is planned primarily as an in-person conference. Hybrid participation and online presentation options may be available for international participants, subject to further confirmation.
Do I need a visa to travel to Vietnam?
Visa requirements depend on the participant’s nationality. International participants are encouraged to consult the official Vietnam Immigration Department or the nearest Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate before making travel arrangements.
Will the conference provide invitation letters?
Yes. Participants who require an official Conference Invitation Letter for visa purposes may request one after their paper has been accepted and they have completed the conference registration process.
